What if I have special circumstances?

If you will be self-pay or have other special circumstances, discuss your questions and concerns with your therapist prior to or at the first session. They will be able to discuss options with you, and you both will work together with your particular circumstance.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

Our practice policy requires that you give 24-hour notice if you need to cancel an appointment. If you do not show for a scheduled appointment or cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged half the regular fee. If you use insurance, your insurance company will not reimburse you for the fee.

How do I make payments for therapy?

Unless special arrangements are made with your therapist, payment for therapy will be collected at the end of each session by check, cash, debit or credit card. If you pay with cash you will need to bring the correct amount as your therapist will not be able to make change.

How much will therapy cost?

Each therapist sets their own rate and will discuss insurance information with you prior to or at the first session. You will need to contact your insurance company to understand if they cover therapy, what your deductible and co-pay will be, and if they limit the number of counseling sessions.
